We attempt to anticipate our customer’s needs by providing innovative, first to market, product categories and pack forms. These are some of those efforts.
1998 – Pioneered vacuum packed hard shell clam production in China. First company to import this category into the US.
1999 – Pioneered vacuum packed mussel production in Chile. First company to import this category into the US.
2000 – First to import a fully cleaned loligo calamari program from China.
2002 – First to supply tenderized calamari strips using gigas squid.
2003 – First to produce baby clam meat in natural juice.
2004 – Offered farm raised red drum.
2006 – First to offer a complete line of todarodes calamari.
2006 – One of the first to offer farm raised cobia.
2007 – Introduced vacuum packed greenshell mussels from New Zealand.
2007 – Partnered with Hillman oysters, the first company to market IQF post harvest processed oysters.
2008 – Offered salt water farm raised barramundi.
2009 – Partnered with Sea Harvest, leading producer in South Africa of MSC certified Cape Hake, to market frozen at sea fillets.
2010 – Introduced pioneering skin pack line to retail, currently offering 25 different pack options.
2014 – Introduced farm raised Japanese sea bass.
2018 – Introduced vacuum packed Mediterranean Mussels from South Africa.
2019 – Introduced hand filleted, MSC certified, IQF Cape Hake fillets in multiple pack forms.
